Community Involvement

Here at Young Talkers, we love our kids we work with and because of this we are very involved in supporting different nonprofit organizations and causes for these children. We are strong supporters of the SOS Heathcare and Building Futures of Autism Clinic. We enjoy participating in different community events. We are also frequent business sponsors of community events for schools, March of Dimes, Miracle League. We enjoy the opportunity to be involved in this way and volunteer our time to support these wonderful kids and families.

Young Talkers has created a free fun, language, and learning group for families and children birth to 3 called Baby Talkers. This group meets monthly, and we enjoy it thoroughly. We do a monthly theme with crafts, songs, baby sign, play activities, and time for parents to talk and socialize. It is for anyone in the community. We are considering doing some parent training classes through a program that we have obtained certification in called the Hanen Program. This program is to give parents the tools they need to help their child develop great language skills. We want to see how many people would be interested in this program.
